  1. Wavelength: In terms of visibility and atmospheric transmission, wavelengths in the visible spectrum, particularly around 650nm (red) or 532nm (green), are often preferred for DIY laser shouters. These wavelengths are readily visible to the human eye and experience less absorption and scattering in the atmosphere compared to longer wavelengths like infrared.

  2. Power (mW): The power output of the laser diode determines the intensity of the laser beam and, to some extent, its range. Lower power diodes (in the range of 5mW to 50mW) are suitable for shorter-range applications, such as indoor communication or demonstrations. Higher power diodes (above 50mW) can achieve longer ranges but require careful attention to safety considerations to avoid eye hazards and regulatory compliance.

  1. Anti-Glare Screen Protector: Purchase a commercially available anti-glare screen protector designed for TVs or electronic devices. These screen protectors often use micro-etching or anti-reflective coatings to reduce glare and reflections while maintaining screen clarity. Look for options specifically labeled as high clarity to ensure minimal impact on image quality.

  2. DIY Anti-Reflective Spray: You can try creating your own anti-reflective spray using a mixture of water and matte finish spray paint. Mix water with matte clear spray paint in a 1:1 ratio in a spray bottle. Lightly mist the solution onto a microfiber cloth and gently wipe it onto the TV screen, ensuring even coverage. Allow the solution to dry completely. This DIY method may help reduce reflections, but it's essential to test it on a small, inconspicuous area of the screen first to ensure it doesn't affect image quality.
  3. Polarizing Filter: Another option is to apply a polarizing filter directly to the TV screen. Polarizing filters can help reduce glare and reflections by blocking certain angles of light. Purchase a polarizing film sheet or cut a piece from polarized sunglasses. Attach the polarizing filter to the TV screen using a mild adhesive or tape. Again, test this method in a small area first to ensure it doesn't affect image quality.
